The Rafael del Riego Chair of Good Governance organised a Round Table in the Aula Magna of the Faculty on Thursday 28 November to discuss the challenge of introducing a climate perspective in public policies.

The topic was analysed from the perspective of environmental associations, public administrations and academic theory. After the presentation of the activity by Abel Arias (Director of the Rafael del Riego Chair), Sergio González Begega, (Professor of Sociology at the University of Oviedo) presented and moderated a debate in which Ernesto Díaz Otero (Naturalist and coordinator of the Platform for the Defence of the Cantabrian Mountains) participated, Nuria Rodríguez López (Director General of Participation and Transparency of the Government of the Principality of Asturias) and the well-known specialist in ecological transition and contributor to various national media, Professor Cristina Monge.
