In line with the Rafael del Riego Chair’s aim to contribute to dialogue within the academic community, as well as among Spanish and international citizens interested in the principles and dynamics of the Open Government model, this section seeks to create a space in which academics, researchers, and professionals can share their concerns, reflections, and experiences on the many and varied aspects that make up Open Government: institutional transparency, citizen participation, accountability, and public ethics.

En un Estado social y democrático de Derecho, el papel que ha de jugar la Administración y su relación con los ciudadanos resulta extremadamente relevante. Esta afirmación se ha puesto de relieve en los últimos tiempos con el nuevo modelo de gobernanza pública y la idea de ciudadanía administrativa. Pero, además, para comprender el contexto actual en el que se desarrolla esa nueva relación con los poderes públicos, así como el nuevo modelo de Administración, resulta esencial analizar un tercer elemento de este círculo virtuoso, como es la buena administración.
